AvaCasa, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates AI Lawyer, an AI-powered legal information mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Account Information. AI Lawyer uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication by default. If you choose to link your Apple ID, we receive your Apple ID credentials and, if you choose to share it, your email address.
Legal Queries and Chat Messages. Messages you send within legal case chats are stored in our database to maintain conversation history and provide contextual legal information.
Documents. If you use the Document Analyzer feature, the text extracted from your documents via on-device OCR is sent to our servers for AI analysis. We store analysis results in your account.
Generated Content. Contracts, letters, case assessments, and court forms generated through the app are stored in your account for access via the Document Vault.
Usage Data. We collect general usage information such as features used and session duration to improve our service.
Device Information. We may collect device type, operating system version, and push notification tokens to deliver notifications and ensure app compatibility.
AI Lawyer uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI) to generate legal information, documents, and analysis. Your queries and document text are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI's use of this data is governed by their API data usage policy. We do not use your data to train AI models.

We retain your account information, case history, and generated documents for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), Firebase security rules, and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

AI Lawyer is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.
